The Greencube app for professionals lets doctors work with the full clinical record from a smartphone or tablet, at the bedside or anywhere on the hospital premises, without needing to be at a computer.
Available on Android and iPhone, the app connects to the centre's environment instantly via a QR code and uses the same login credentials as Greencube, with off-site access possible where permissions and setup allow. Hospitalisation worklists support bed and service transfers and rapid patient filtering by name, record number, or location; emergency worklists show triage status and allow discharge; and outpatient worklists cover nursing schedules, arrival notifications, waiting times, medical queries, and patient calls through monitoring.
| Function | What doctors can do |
|---|---|
| Alarms | Patient alarms are displayed on opening an episode and must be reviewed, with the full alarm list available. |
| Patient overview | Clinical progress logged in the app registers automatically in the hospital system with user traceability; anamnesis and evolution can be recorded by voice. |
| Medication | Review prescribed medication with risk, condition, and note icons; prescribe from medication protocols; scan medication in the room, with automatic validation of administration. |
| Treatment | Create, edit, and delete dietary plans, nursing care (including voice entry), and oxygen therapy. |
| Diagnoses | Record primary and secondary diagnoses coded in ICD-10, drawing on frequently used diagnoses. |
| Referrals | Receive notifications addressed to the professional or department, respond by voice, and sign with a biometric signature on the device. |
| Test map | Request, modify, and remove tests of all types; view every requested test and its reports and results, including values above and below range. |
| Imaging | Integration with the PACS viewer for X-ray images, with detailed zoom on mobile and access over mobile data. |
| Vital signs | Daily monitoring with the last three readings per sign, and a graphical view of all data recorded during the stay. |
A record search engine offers multiple filters, recent searches, and instant identification by scanning the barcode on the patient's wristband.
The app is built to improve the quality of clinical records and patient care by capturing information at the point of care, to support staff mobility, and to speed up processes such as referrals, while complying with information security regulations. It benefits doctors, patients, and management alike.
