Nursing module

The nursing module gives nursing staff their own structured record inside the shared Greencube patient history, covering assessment, planning, administration, and handover across ward, emergency, theatre, and outpatient settings.

The nursing record

On admission, nurses complete an assessment built on the ten nursing patterns, from which the system supports NANDA nursing diagnoses and validated clinical scales such as falls and dependency assessments. Nursing progress notes sit alongside the medical record, and a nursing discharge report closes the episode. A record summary screen brings the assessment, scales, progress, and the doctor's summary together for quick handover.

Worklists by setting

Hospitalisation worklists show every patient on the ward with location, pending tasks, and pre-discharge status, and support bed and service transfers. In the emergency department, nursing runs triage and works from a live emergency worklist. In outpatients, the external consultation worklist organises the nursing schedule for the clinic day.

The surgical cycle

Nursing documentation follows the patient through surgery: a pre-surgical interview before the intervention, the theatre nursing record during it, progress notes in the day care surgical unit afterwards, and a post-discharge interview to follow up once the patient has gone home.

How it connects

Everything the doctor prescribes in the treatment screen appears on nursing screens for administration, and what nursing records feeds back into the shared record, pharmacy unit-dose preparation, and consumption allocation. The same functions are available at the bedside through the Greencube nursing app.
