The admissions module is the administrative front door of a Greencube hospital. It carries a patient from first contact through appointment, admission, and emergency reception to the point where care and billing take over.
Admissions is built for non-clinical staff who deal directly with patients: reception desks, appointment counters, emergency reception, and bed managers. Centres can mirror their administrative organisation in the system by granting each user permissions for only the functions their role requires.
Every patient is anchored to a single medical history number, created automatically and never changed, which follows the patient across consultations, hospitalisation, and emergency care. Staff search the patient index by identity document, name, date of birth, or record number, and open or create the patient file with identification, contact, insurance, and legal representative data. Identity can also be validated biometrically by fingerprint or by chip card at arrival, and wristbands and labels are printed directly from the record.
| Workflow | What the module covers |
|---|---|
| Outpatient appointments | Agenda search by centre, service, and consultation; booking, editing, and deleting appointments; overbooking slots; blocking; arrival confirmation, queue tickets, and waiting room turn calls; SMS confirmations. |
| Referrals and deferred bookings | Consultation proposals raised by doctors, deferred appointments for agendas not yet open, and imaging requests awaiting a slot. |
| Hospitalisation | Admission requests, drag and drop bed assignment, reservation and pre-admission states, dynamic bed management, a graphical hospitalisation map, transfers, and discharge or cancellation. |
| Emergency reception | Emergency sheets, triage linkage, accident and injury reporting by accident type, administrative discharge, and transfer to another hospital in the group. |
| Day hospital and dialysis | Graphical occupancy of positions and beds, session booking, and worklists showing pharmacy and nursing request status. |
| Physiotherapy | Treatment creation, session counts, gym and position agendas, automatic and replicated appointment series. |
| Surgical planning | The operating room planner, anaesthetist assignment, theatre blocking, surgical equipment maintenance, and intervention listings. |
| Authorisations | Recording and verifying insurer authorisations for tests, admissions, and interventions, including online connections to funders. |
Admissions feeds every clinical module: an appointment, admission request, or emergency sheet opens the record that doctors and nurses then work in, and the same activity flows through to the billing module without re-keying. Agenda maintenance in this module also drives what patients can book through the patient portal and patient app.
